Today, the halls of Holy Child feel a little different. After 16 remarkable years of unwavering dedication, we gathered to celebrate the retirement of a true pillar of our community: Ma’am Editha Ferranco.
It was an afternoon filled with bittersweet smiles and heartfelt tributes. The ceremony was a beautiful testament to the lives she touched, graced by our school leaders and led by our School President, Mr. Pol Allan D. Leuterio. For nearly two decades, Ma’am Edith has been the heartbeat of servant-leadership at Holy Child. To her colleagues, she wasn’t just a peer; she was a mentor, a confidante, and a steady hand in times of change. She leaves behind a profound legacy of Christian leadership—the kind that doesn’t seek the spotlight but shines brightly through acts of kindness, integrity, and faith.
As she closes this chapter, we reflect on the seeds of wisdom she planted in our hearts. While we will miss her presence in our daily routines, her influence is woven into the very fabric of this institution.
”To lead is to serve, and to serve is to love.”— Ma’am Edith’s life at Holy Child in a single sentence.
Ma’am Edith, thank you for 16 years of excellence. May your retirement be as vibrant and inspiring as the legacy you leave behind.
